A large, elongated planter with a rectangular base. The material (ecological resin, also known as fiberclay) is a combination of fibers and ceramics. The surface structure is slightly porous and has unevenly distributed delicate pores, giving it the appearance of architectural concrete. The product is relatively lightweight, making it very convenient for moving around, yet stable enough to be used in public spaces. The article does not have a drainage hole, but the ceramic fiber material is strong enough to allow for drilling one if desired – appropriate indentations have been prepared on the bottom. You can decide whether the planter should have a hole or not. This model is a seasonal garden planter - meaning there is no guarantee of frost resistance and it is recommended to protect it during winter by removing it from direct exposure to weather conditions (e.g. storing it under cover or covering it). The elongated shape makes the smaller size perfect for use on a windowsill, while the larger size, especially when paired with tall plants, can serve as a separator in interior spaces, gardens or on terraces. Each piece comes with planting instructions. To extend the lifespan of the planter, it is recommended to additionally protect the interior with a liquid film-type preparation. As the articles from the Ecolite collection are made from natural material (ceramic fiber), they absorb moisture. Therefore, during use, local moisture spots may appear on the surface, which will dry over time and leave no trace. This is a natural process for this type of material and does not affect the functionality of the planter.
