A large square-shaped planter made from fiberclay (an eco-friendly resin) which is a combination of fibers and ceramics. The surface has a slightly porous structure with unevenly distributed delicate indentations. The product is relatively light, making it easy to move, yet stable enough to be used in public spaces. This model does not have a drainage hole, but the fiberclay material is strong enough that it is possible to drill a hole in the bottom. Decide if you want your planter to have a hole or not. This is a seasonal outdoor planter, meaning it does not have frost protection and it is recommended to protect it from the elements during winter (e.g. by storing it in a sheltered area). More information can be found in the technical data section. The products are handmade and the actual measurements may slightly differ from the declared ones (+/- 5%). Each item comes with planting instructions. In order to increase the planter's lifespan, it is advised to apply an additional protection to the interior, such as liquid foil. Since the Ecolite collection items are made from a natural material (fiberclay), the planters absorb moisture. Therefore, during use, there may be local spots of moisture on the surface which will eventually dry up and leave no trace. This is a natural process with this type of material and does not affect the functionality of the planter.
